construction. Students will be instructed on the
process of building information regarding
construction material, estimation, and the residential
wood framing process. The hands-on portion of the
class will include the construction layout of floors,
walls, and roofs. The class will construct various
projects including an 8’x8’ building and the
installation of windows and doors, and exterior
finishes. Teamwork, work ethic, craftsmanship, and
punctuality are emphasized in the practical portion
of this course. Students must complete Carpentry
Level II prior to enrolling in this course
