<span class="p-span"><span class="p-span"><span class="p-span"><span class="p-span"><span class="p-span"><font>Let’s explore unique creations and coding using the LEGO Education SPIKE Essential Robotics Set! In this NEW, QUIRKY CREATIONS unit, students build, design, and code ways to help minifigures wake up, do homework, create an improved playground, pick up trash, practice shooting goals, and decide which book to read, in addition to learning how their design will move and interact. Design projects include Good Morning Machine, Big Little Helper (robot), High Tech Playground, Trash Monster Machine, Winning Goal, and Literary Randomizer. This unit will develop your students' engineering design skills as they investigate ways of defining problems, brainstorming solutions, and testing and refining prototypes. They'll refine their problem-solving skills as they create a solution to a problem that has constraints, and improve on others’ ideas. They will also hone their ability to identify failure points and success criteria when comparing, modifying, and evaluating a solution. Oh, and they will have lots of fun in the process, too! All students will come home with a portfolio of their designs on the last day. </font></span><span class="p-span"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Roboto, Arial; color: rgb(67, 67, 67);">Dates: </span><font color="#434343"><span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">April 7, 14, 21, 28, 5, 12</span></font></span><span class="p-span"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Roboto, Arial; color: rgb(67, 67, 67);">Time: <span style="font-size: 10pt;">4pm-5pm</span></span></span></span></span></span><span class="p-span"><span class="p-span"><span class="p-span"><span class="p-span"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Roboto, Arial; color: rgb(67, 67, 67);"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Open to Kindergarten - 5th Grades</span></span></span></span></span></span></span><span class="p-span"><span class="p-span"><span class="p-span"><span class="p-span"><span class="p-span"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Roboto, Arial; color: rgb(67, 67, 67);"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Located in Room 324</span></span></span></span></span></span></span>
