Students will complete at least 60 hours of physical activity as described in their fitness plans. As a part of the personal fitness plan, you will complete both a pre-test and post-test using the same Fitness-gram tests administered to students during the school year. Students will also complete the CPR training required by the state in order to graduate. For the Health component, students will enroll in an online health curriculum aligned with the 9th-grade health SOLs. Students will be assigned to a licensed Lynchburg City Schools’ Health/Physical Education teacher who will approve the personal fitness plan, monitor student progress, assist as needed, and evaluate the student.
