Join us this summer for an exciting camp. This camp is being put on by our high school FIRST Robotics team (Team Impulse) to introduce a younger generation to the world of Lego Robotics. During the week, your student will get introduced to the basic concepts of robotics engineering, using the LEGO Mindstorm EV3 kits and software. We will cover design, movement, and sensor usage, all while learning how it relates to the real world. Students will work in teams to foster cooperation and teamwork. There will be challenges every day that the students will be building robots for. The final project of the camp will be designing and building a LEGO Mindstorms robot to compete in a First Lego League (FLL) Challenge. The students will pick tasks from the FLL challenge to design, build, and test a robot that they will then compete with.

Camp will take place in STEM’s Secondary School.
