<h1 style="text-align: center;" class=""><span style="font-size: 13.6px;"><b style=""><font color="#0000ff">2024 ULA STUDENT ROCKET PAYLOAD COMPETITION</font></b></span></h1><h1 style="text-align: center;" class=""><span style="font-size: 13.6px;"><b style=""><font color="#0000ff">STUDENT REGISTRATION</font></b></span></h1><p style="text-align: left;">Interested in some hands-on Aerospace and Electronics project learning this summer, while having fun? <span class="p-span">This spring and summer, STEM has been given the opportunity to participate with the ULA Student Rocket Launch Program.</span><span class="p-span">Retired ULA engineer Jeff Dunker has partnered with STEM to teach students grades 6-12 how to build payload that will be carried by a rocket. In the past classes have included electronics (beginner & intermediate), Autonomous Robotics,the machine, assembly, and the C programming languages, Newtonian Physics and material science, static and dynamics, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus and differential equation and Linear Equation at a basic level enough for the class but not the complete subject. Basically any subject that class needs. Different year we studied parachutes, airplanes, gliders, boats & buoyancy, land rovers, water proofing, and many small subjects.</span></p><p style="text-align: left;"><font color="#ce0000">OPEN TO ALL STUDENTS 6th Grade and Up, in the South Metro area. </font></p><p style="text-align: left;">This program is led by Jeff Dunker, who has led our summer ULA Payload Program for the past several years. </p><p style="text-align: left;"><b>ULA Class: </b>begins Monday, March 25, 2024 and will continue into through June. Launch date will be in July. </p><p style="text-align: left;"><b>Meets:</b> Mondays, 3:00-4:00 pm Room 132 (Ms. Viren's HS Robotics lab) </p><p style="text-align: left;"><b>Cost:</b> $100/student - includes Payload materials </p><p style="text-align: left;">Scholarships available for FRL Families</p>
