Students will learn to</font></div><div><font>transfer an image, carve, ink and print their blocks using best practices in printmaking. Students</font></div><div><font>will start with single color prints and will move on to multi-color prints at their own pace with</font></div><div><font>guided instruction. The class will be studio style, allowing students to work at their own pace</font></div><div><font>and on ideas and techniques that interest them personally. Group size limited to 10 participants.</font></div><div><font>All classes and labs offered at Sorensen are adult (age 18+). Linoleum carving tool (pink handle Speedball tool is good).</font></div><div><font>2. Brayer (Speedball pink handle is nice. Soft 4” is a good universal brayer tool).</font></div><div><font>3. Flexible metal putty knife.</font></div><div><font>4. Linoleum to carve - size is up to you. “Speedy Carve” or “Easy Carve” is good for</font></div><div><font>beginners. White/ green and pink have shown better results than tan.</font></div><div><font>5. Paper you would like to print on. Canson Multimedia, BFK Reeves or any thicker</font></div><div><font>cardstock is preferred.</font></div><div><font>6. Pencil and sketchbook for planning and transferring your designs.</font></div><div><font>7. Tracing paper if you would like to trace/ copy images.</font></div>
